Dhauladhar Range Visible From Jalandhar, Thanks To The Decrease In Pollution.

As the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has forced people to stay at home due to lockdown, dozens of reports of mother nature healing itself have surfaced. The Pollution level has gone down and People have been sharing images of clearer skies and chirping birds. Various sightings of wild animals roaming about the streets have also been reported.

The residents of Jalandhar (Punjab) woke up to a mesmerizing sight on Friday morning. For the first time in 30 years, the Dhauladhar mountain range was clearly visible from a considerable distance.

People took to social media to share pictures of the mountain range that was clearly visible from their homes.

Cricketer Harbhajan Singh also shared a picture on Twitter. Take a look: 

Dhauladhar Range, which means ‘white range’ is a part of the Lesser Himalayan ranges. The mountains are at least 200 km from Jalandhar. The wonderful sighting was due to lesser pollution because of fewer vehicles on road and decreased industrial activities.
