Great news for all the party people in Faridabad, Panchkula, and Gurgaon. Under the new Excise policy of Haryana, the bars in all these cities will now remain open till 1 am. The policy also makes wine and beer more affordable. The license fees or restaurants and hotels serving alcohol had also been cut. However, country-made liquor would be more expensive in Haryana.
On paying a one-time additional fee of Rs 10 lakh per hour, the bars in Panchkula, Faridabad, and Gurgaon may stay open till 3 am.
Presently, the bars in these places open till midnight. It is possible that the timings have been extended in view of the timings in Delhi where you can visit a bar till 1 am. The new rules will come into effect on 1st April.
