Rishi Kapoor had a magnanimous persona and was known to live life to the fullest! But did you know the revered actor wished to visit Pakistan before he breathed his last?

As we know, the late actor was quite active on Twitter. Back in 2017, he once expressed his desire to visit the neighbouring country in a tweet.

He wrote, “I am 65 years old and I want to see Pakistan before I die. I want my children to see their roots. Bas karva dijiye (Please make it happen).”

According to the reports, the Kapoor family’s ancestral home, ‘Kapoor Haveli’, is located in Peshawar, Pakistan.  The house was built by Rishi Kapoor’s great grandfather. It was in this house that Prithviraj Kapoor and Raj Kapoor were born!

Around two years ago, The government of Pakistan agreed to turn the Haveli into a museum on Rishi Kapoor’s request.
