Boycott KBC Trends As Viewers Demand An Apology From The Channel And Big B

The recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati (season 11) has been receiving a lot of backlash due to one of the questions asked by host Amitabh Bachchan during the show.

The historical question hurt the sentiments of the viewers who have now taken to Twitter to show their disappointment.

The question asked by Big B was “Which of these rulers was the contemporary of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb?”

It was followed by the following options:

A) Maharana Pratap

B) Rana Sanga

C)Maharaja Ranjit

D) Shivaji

Soon after the episode was aired on Sony Entertainment Television, angry tweets from the audience began to pour in.

Big B received a lot of criticism for calling the Mughal emperor as ‘Samrat’ and addressing the Maratha Ruler Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj as just ‘Shivaji.’

The channel, as well as the host, are now being called out by the viewers who are demanding an apology for disrespecting Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
